The 1VD gets fuelled from some ordinary bowsers out bush. The PreLine-Plus sits ahead of the factory filter and strips water and particles out first, then warns you in the cab when it has caught water.
The PL640DPK mounts on the driver side and suits ABS-equipped 70 Series only. Check yours before you order.

- Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series 1VD-FTV 4.5L V8, 2007 to 2017 (ABS-equipped vehicles only)
Check before ordering: driver-side mounting location, and suits ONLY vehicles with ABS. Direction Plus's fitment table lists 2007 to 2017, but its description lists 2012 to 2017. If your 70 Series is pre-2012, send us your VIN before ordering.

Fitting Notes
- Driver-side mounting location. Non-ABS vehicles need a different mounting setup and this kit will not suit them.
- Fuel path: tank, PreLine, factory filter.
- Install covers the bracket, PreLine assembly, fuel line routing, water alarm, then priming and a leak check.
- Installation by a competent qualified mechanic is recommended. Allow 2 to 2.5 hours for a DIY install.
Servicing
- Replace the element every 40,000 km or per your vehicle service schedule. Replacement: PL150DP.
- When the in-cab alarm activates, open the drain tap and release the water.

A: No. Direction Plus lists the PL640DPK for ABS-equipped vehicles only.

Q: I have a 2018 or later 70 Series. Will this fit?
