TheĀ N80 HiluxĀ is fitted with a clutch hydraulic dampening valve, the purpose of this valve is to improve driver comfort by reducing vibrations through softening the clutch pedal, however it is also a common point of failure.

When installing a HD Clutch, braidedĀ line installation is recommended as the are designed to offer a stronger alternative to factory rubber lines.

Braided lines are designed to improve pedal feel due to the reduction in expansion of the hose under pressure.
