Wiring Note
When stepping up from the factory 85A unit to 130A, it is recommended to upgrade the cable and fuse from the alternator to the battery. The alternator will happily make the current, but the factory cable was never sized for it.

A: It is strongly recommended at 130A, especially with a dual battery setup. It is not always strictly necessary, but the cable and fuse are the limiting factor once output climbs.

A: Output only. The 100A 65-8591 is a mild step over the 85A factory unit; this 130A is the one for serious accessory load.
Q: Will it suit a 2KD?
